Hello,

I would like to tell you a little about myself.  I was born in 1955 in Greenwood S.C., and I have a B.A. degree in history from Lander University ( 1980).  I began teaching in Ninety Six in 1984, and this is my 39th year of teaching. After 13 years of teaching at NSHS, I moved to Edgewood Middle School where I am presently teaching S.C. /U.S. History (8th grade) in Room 111. I enjoy reading and gardening. Over the years, I have coached about 50 plus sports teams in Greenwood District 52.   Golf, basketball, and soccer are the sports I have been involved in. This year I am again coaching the boys' basketball team here at EMS...TEAM #51....Go WILDCATS!!!  Last year's boys basketball team worked their way through the season and finished with the year with "determination and effort plus a victory over the Saluda Tigers". This year's team will have multiple 8th graders returning from last year's squad and they will be joined by the 7th graders who make the team.  Thank you for all your support and input again this year!
