Melody Teal

My name is Melody Teal. I graduated from Lander University in 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. This is my first year teaching in Ninety Six, and I am so excited about joining the family of Edgewood Middle. I previously taught for two years at Ware Shoals Middle School, there I taught 6th grade Science and 8th grade Science. While teaching in Ware Shoals, I was the Robotics Coach, and also received the Golden Apple Award on WYFF-4 of December 2021. 

 

I am originally from Chesterfield, South Carolina, and graduated high school from there in 2016. I will be getting married in February 2023 to Chandler Owings. During my free time, I enjoy going to the lake with my friends while bringing my dog, Georgia, along. I also enjoy going back to my hometown and spending time with my family.
