TKAM - Mature Content
Parents and Guardians,

We are beginning our novel study of To Kill A Mockingbird. As you know, the novel's time period and historical significance can stimulate much discussion of hot topics such as racism, segregation, social injustice, and identity/sense of self. As a result, your child may wish to discuss these topics and share class discussions with you at home.
Supply List
2 marble composition books
Small binder (1-1.5") with 5 tab dividers
Notebook paper
Colored pencils
Pencil sharpener
Highlighter
Sticky tabs to section off composition books
Kleenex
Clorox wipes
Recommended: Planner/Agenda
STUDENTS WHO ARE ABSENT
It is extremely important that you check the Assignments page of my website and make up as much work as possible BEFORE you return to class. As this is an Honors class, the accelerated curriculum makes it difficult to "catch up" on your work once you have fallen behind. Please be mindful that you are always responsible for ALL work missed when you are absent, regardless of the reason for the absence.
