I have been in education for 23 years including coaching, teaching, and administration. I graduated from Lander University and did my student teaching at Ninety Six High School. I am excited about being the Principal at Edgewood Middle School and look forward to this upcoming school year.
I am married to my wife, Leslie, who teaches 3rd grade in Ninety Six. We have two daughters Janie (9th Grade) and Emilie (6th Grade). We love going on vacation and going to different sporting events. We are excited about being a part of the Ninety Six community.

Welcome! I am Wesley Carwile and I am the Assistant Principal at Edgewood Middle School. The 2024-2025 school year will be my first year as the AP at EMS. I am from the Abbeville area and have previously taught and coached in a few Anderson County schools. I attended Clemson University to earn my Education degree and The University of South Carolina to earn my degree in Administration. I enjoy spending time with my family on the lake, watching Clemson Tigers football, and working on my golf game. I am very much looking forward to joining the Wildcat Family here in Ninety Six.
