Mr. Schoolfield has been working in education for over 20 years and has been the principal of Edgewood Middle School for the past 5 years. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Presbyterian College and a Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University.

Mr. Schoolfield is an avid Duke fan and loves all sports. In his free time, he enjoys reading and traveling with his wife, Kim, and son, Eli. 

He is also the Academic Challenge Team coach that won both the region and state championships in 2022.
